Welcome! We are so glad you found us. We have moved our site to one that accommodates our needs better and features online class registration. That site is here: https://www.homeschool-life.com/1995/

For the most part, this site is still a good source of info for our group, but otherwise, to view current info for the 2015-2016 school year, please use the link above.

Welcome to the Trinity Homeschooling Association Web site!

We are a group of Christian homeschooling families in northeast Florida. We live in Keystone Heights, Palatka, Starke, Melrose, Interlachen, Hampton and Hawthorne which are located in Clay, Alachua, Bradford and Putnam counties. Our group is parent-led, we meet once a month and we aim to keep costs low so you can keep those much needed resources for your children. We tend towards more enrichment type activities rather than course/educational focused.

May 4, 2015 - We just finished our last meeting of the school year. This year we had 3 different sessions with 4 classes available in each session. Lots of choices! That means, we had LOTS of volunteers! Thanks to ALL of them who volunteered each month! It was a great year.

Looking forward, we have a Used Curriculum Sale scheduled for June 19, 2015. Items will be sorted by grade and level! Be sure to check out our "Used Curriculum Sale" page for more info. Following that, we will have our Parent Planning Meeting in July. Be thinking of what type of class you might be interested in teaching or assisting with. At that time we will plan when we start, either August or Sept.

I would also like to plan a Pinterest party for moms this summer, too. Start pinning and come up with ideas of what you would like to do!

Each year our moms meet in the summer to decide what activities will best meet the needs of the families in our group for the upcoming school year. Our activities are based on the ages, numbers, and interests of the children as well as the talents and connections of the parents. Therefore, the group changes from year to year, growing with the students.

We have had a few field trips to nearby places after lunch. The moms have had Mom Nights every few months in order to plan activities, visit with each other and EAT. We have had a few well planned field-trips and many e-mailed "I heard of this activity happening! We are going & you are invited to meet us there!" field-trips too. We currently have over 30 families with children ranging in age from 10 months to 18 years.

We usually have an end-of-the year program in June. We usually have at least one field-trip in the summer months with a fun day of picnicking and playing at Camp Good News Homeschoolers picnic in September.
